It had never crossed my mind that using an all manual beauty like my Kodak Retina would be so much fun. The tiny little Kodak has done well staring into the summer sun and the 2001 expired Kodak Gold film had captured enough to make an image worthy of something.
This summer has not been one of the best of my life. Although living not far from the sea, I have been given just a few chances to spend some of my time with it. Here is a moment from a last week’s day spent by the sea.
Look into a child’s mind, if you know how, and you will be amazed of what you’ll find. From colorful dragons armed with rockets and laser guns and strange stuff made of lego bricks to anything that could be made out of a mix of reality and pure and unbiased childish imagination.

Having not much to do and feeling un-creative under a 40 degC city, one can get some fun out of shooting textures and things. I liked this one. It is old and neatly textured. Not something extraordinary, but yet another fun spend frame. (Nikon FA, Nikkor 28mm 2.8 AI, Expired 1976 Kodak Plus X, D-76)
