Out last weekend to the sea. With my trusty Nikon FE and a roll of 2008 expired Ilford P4 Surveillance film, I have been fooling around on the rocky sides of Piraeus. Although I had a hard time under the blazing noon sun, I have enjoyed it quite a bit. Many photos taken and have realized that P4 is not one of the best films to use at such a contrasty scene. Initially I had been planning using Kodak Plus-X instead of it, but the contrast would had been even higher.
Note that the neat blurring at the top background of the first shot is not due to the excellent performance of the Nikkor 35mm 2.8 AI, but due to the film not being evenly flat on the scanner.
